Description

This is one of the outlying members of the Virgo Supercluster and it is bright enough and high enough in the northern sky that it's a surprise Messieurs Messier and Mechain missed it. It is, however, fainter enough than M65 and M66 to escape binocular detection on all but the most exceptional of nights.
